About Us.
The mission of Lutheran Youth Impact is to support Lutheran college students in El Salvador. LYI was born when leaders, parents and pastors of El Salvador’s Lutheran Church Council met with Lutherans from the US to ask for help for the youth of their congregations and communities to go to college.
We aim to provide financial aid for education as well as computers for students. We hope to enable students to make the most of their education, to launch professional careers, to pursue their common dreams, and to make a difference in their churches, their communities and their country.
