El Salvador's young people are poised to become tomorrow's leaders and to take their nation forward to a new future. These youth want to launch professional careers to serve as many as possible and make a great impact with the love of Christ.
Mission. The mission of Lutheran Youth Impact is to support Lutheran college students in El Salvador. LYI was born when leaders, parents and pastors of El Salvador’s Lutheran Church Council met with Lutherans from the US to ask for help for the youth of their congregations and communities to go to college. We aim to provide financial aid for education as well as computers for students. We hope to enable students to make the most of their education, to pursue their common dreams, and to make a real difference in their churches, their communities and their country. |

Our Salvadoran Partners We work with a team of Salvadoran Lutherans to identify students for financial aid and to administer the program locally.
